William F. Simms & Frances C. Simms are NOT the parents of our Beulah.  I've shown that in the cenus's on this page -
http://heathersgen.blogspot.com/2012/02/beulah-laverta-simms-1886.html

Hard as it is to believe, there really were TWO Beulah L. Simms, both from VA & MD, around the same age.  The 1910 census shows them both - but in 1910 ours is already married to George Lumbard, so we know that is the correct one for us, not the one shown living with William & Frances.

Looking for any information regarding Alexander Simms/ Semmes b. Abt. 1767,of Faidfax Co.., VA., m. Bathsheba/ (Barsheba/ Beersheba) Follin b. 10-2-1777. He may be the son of William Simms Sr. or Fairfax County and brother of William Simms Jr. Alexander and Bathsheba had 8 children: Samuel Catlett, Alfred Follin, Richard Alexander, Isaiah Wingfield, Matilda Whitney, Alonzo Smith, William Douglas (goes by Douglas),& Thomas Simms. Alexander probably died just prior to 1814 because Bathsheba bound out 4 sons(Richard, Alonzo,Isaiah & William D.) as apprentices after his death. We are trying to get a clear link to William Sr. or find out who Alexander's ancestors are.
