Christian Mauser was born March 8, 1779, and died May 27, 1866. He married Catherine Sechler, who was born April 21, 1786, and died Dec. 20, 1862. They lived on the old homestead, where Mr. Mauser followed farming. Emanuel Mauser, born 1840, was first married to Margaret [surname unknown], who was born ca. 1836 in Pennsylvania; they had two children, Annie J. born ca. 1865, and William E. born 12 Jun 1869.
After the death of Margaret, Emanuel second married Mary Elizabeth "Lib" Weidenhamer, and they had one daughter, Lydia Mae, born June 1873.
Emanuel was a farmer; his death occurred as a result of a farming accident. He died November 1887 and is buried in Washingtonville, Montour County Pa.
