William Andrew Ridge, born 1886, lists on his passport and draft registration that he was born in Indian Territory
In the 1910 census it says place of birth is Missouri
In the 1920 census birth place is listed as Oklahoma
in 1930 census his birth place, as well as that of his mother and father, is given as Oklahoma
On his passport birthplace is listed as Indian Territory, his father is listed as born in Rich Hill, MO
On his WWI draft card he lists his birth place as Rich Hill, Missouri
On his WWII draft card he lists his place of birth as Indian Territory, Oklahoma

Officially known as The Final Rolls of the Citizens and Freedmen of the Five Civilized Tribes in Indian Territory, the Dawes Rolls list individuals who chose to enroll and were approved for membership in the Five Civilized Tribes (Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Creek, and Seminole.) Enrollment for the Dawes Rolls began in 1898 and ended in 1906.
