Find these sources:
"There is a mortgage in Bloomsburg where John buys the Taylor property from the heirs. Margaret is one. It technically does not name her a James' daughter, but it is clear she is. There is reference to a James' Orphan Court record and that does name her as his daughter."

1841 - Abt.  Son James Wertman was born

James is found with his family in the 1850 and 1860 census, but I do not know anymore about him.

1847 - Daughter Harriet Wertman is born
Harriet Wertman was born January 1 1847 and died June 9 1904.

She married Abraham Sechler.  Abraham Sechler is named in the letters of administration for his father in law John Wertman.

1850 Census
In 1850 John & Marg. Wertman (transcribed as Mary, but that looks to be a g, not a y, in the image) are listed in cooper twp, Montour County Pa.  John is listed as age 33 and Margarette as age 44.
I think that is an error, John should be listed as age 43, not 44.
If John was born in 1808 he's be about 43 in this census.

Info from Tom Young, on the Montour Genealogy Facebook Page -
Margaret and Rebecca are the same person. Perhaps, a middle name, but I believe the names are used interchangeably. I have seen it before. There is a deed in Danville where the children sign off on selling the property. Actually, 2 deeds. Jesse was in Michigan and sent a separate deed. She is named Margaret in those documents, which are obviously after the 1870 census. So, one wife.

I have told several folks that Margaret was the d/o James Taylor, but the fact has not found it's way online yet. There is a mortgage in Bloomsburg where John buys the Taylor property from the heirs. Margaret is one. It technically does not name her a James' daughter, but it is clear she is. There is reference to a James' Orphan Court record and that does name her as his daughter.

John's ancestry is as follows.

John Wertman/Barbara Krumm
Johan Michael Wertman/Catherina Flack or Flach
George Phipip Wertman of Lynn Township.
