Our Jaudon Line to Freda Francis Aikey

"The first four generations of the family spelled the name Jaudon, as appears by the references to their marriaged, but after a settlement in Bucks County Pa, the name was spelled Jodon for quite awhile, although Jaudon was gradually resumed.  Francis Jaudon, son of Pierre Jaudon, the settler, spelled his name Jodon, which form was retained by his descendents." Jaudon Family Of Pennsylvania by Edwin Jaquett

There is a book on our Jaudon line, written by Edwin Jaquett.  It had two printings, one in 1890 and a revised edition in 1920.  The 1920 edition is available on Ancestry.com, the 1890 edition is available for download from a variety of online sources.
