1845 - John Mitchell Dies

There are a lot of John Mitchell's (I think i counted 8) in the 1840 census in Maryland, so I can't be sure this is the right one. Other researchers list June 1845 as John's date of death, but I have no proof... other than he appears to have died before the 1850 census.

It's interesting to note that on the exact same page as John Mitchell's funeral listing, a John Mitchell is listed as to participate in the funeral procession for Andrew Jackson -

If John died in 1845, and Thomas is 3 in the 1850 census, Thomas must have been born in 1846.

There is a Mrs Margaret Mitchell in the tax records:

but I'm not convinced this is "our" Margaret.  Note the Reverand Mitchell right below her? Are they connected?

Research:
This family is elusive. I can find almost no records!  No find a grave, no death records, no conclusive census material... Most of what is here is conjecture, based on ancestry.com trees that are also unsourced.  I need records! :-)
