1893 - Son Russell Philip Linderborn
Born July 4 1893
Der Deutsche correspondent., April 18, 1914, Page 3, Image 3

In 1920 he lived on South Battery Ave, in Baltimore MD, married to May, with a 4 year old daughter, Dorothy.  (Dorothy married a Meshaw and died in 1995)
His occupation was Pipe-Fitter for a chemical company.

The SS death index tells us he died December 1961, but I do not know where he is in 1930 or 1940, I cannot find census records for him.  He might be right in Baltimore, which I suspect, just under an odd spelling.  City directories seem to show that he did not leave Baltimore MD.

1897 Son Alexander Linderborn was born
Born 20 Aug 1897
Marylands Military Men tells us that Alex served in WWI from 1917-1919,was wounded, and later died of pheumonia.
He died at Camp Sherman Ohio, February 27 1919.  Age 20.
The stone simply says "Lindenborn". Cemetery records list both Alexander & Phillip, no dates given, as buried in that plot. Phillips death notice states he was buried here.

died in World War service under honorable conditions.

Russell would have been the oldest son, and he would have been right around 20 years old.  But in 1913, Philip was closer to 50 than the 40 reported here.  The address in this article is the same as that found in the Baltimore directory for him and his family that year.  Russell got married in April of 1914.

Research:
St Paul's Episcopal Church
Both Philip and Amanda's wedding, and Howards's baptism, can be found in the St Paul's Episcopal Church records.  It's odd that Howard was baptised at age 5, and I can find no other records for any of the other children being baptized there.  A LOT of Smith's appear in the records, I would guess this was possibly Amanda's parents church?
