1830 census shows 5 boys under the age of 29, not the 4 listed here. 

JOHN BROWN, son of Daniel and Rachel Brands Brown. 

John Brown was born in Sussex, now Warren County, New Jersey.  He emigrated to Mifflin Township, Columbia County, Pa. He married Miss Elizabeth Linneberry. 


The children of John and Elizabeth Linneberry Brown are: 


Jerusha, who married Mr. Rough. They lived at Nescopeek, Pa


Mary Ann, who married John Yohe. 


Dorothy, who married William Aten. 


Rachel married Jacob Yohe. 


Margaret married Gideon Nuss. One son, John, lives at Nescopeck, Pa. 


James, who lived at Nescopeck, Pa.

George married Miss Sarah Creasy.

After the death of his wife Elizabeth, Mr. Brown married Miss Catherine Hall. There were no children from this second marriage.
